She also founded and led an HR Consulting practice for American Express Tax & Business Services, advising on compliance, investigations, and employee relations strategy.

Paris’s extensive background spans the full range of Covenant Law Group’s service offerings:

Business Law: General counsel services, risk management, and compliance; formation and governance of corporations and LLCs; contract drafting, negotiation, and review; and mergers and acquisitions from due diligence through closing.

Litigation: Representation of businesses and individuals in commercial and civil disputes, including contract enforcement, real-property litigation, and partnership/shareholder conflicts.

Employment Law: Employer representation in compliance audits, workplace investigations, and employment litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour issues. Paris also advocates for employees in select employment-related matters.

Her approach is grounded in strategic foresight, practical solutions, and a deep understanding of the human element of every legal issue.

During law school, Paris externed with the Chief Legal Counsel’s Office of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (USCIS), drafting appellate briefs for the Board of Immigration Appeals. She also served as a Prosecutor, successfully trying seven cases, and represented clients in diverse matters through the UIC John Marshall pro-bono litigation clinic.

Paris earned her Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from UIC John Marshall Law School and her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies (magna cum laude) from Hodges University. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois.

Beyond her professional work, Paris is a devoted mother of four. She values faith, family, and continuous learning, and has been deeply committed to supporting abused and neglected children through her volunteer work with Safe Families for Children, providing temporary care for children in need.
